As usual in January, I’m fully immersing myself in Wintering. No big plans for a new me. No rushing to the finish line. Instead, a slow and measured start to the year. This is, after all, what we’re designed to do in this season. It comes as no surprise to me that this time of year is one of the most popular to come and stay at Albion Nights. Winter provides us with the most natural time to take a pause; a long, slow exhale. If you’d like to come and stay this year, I’m offering 10% off all stays booked before the end of January. Endings are never easy. This one is tough. Today we have to say goodbye to Mac. The best family pet we ever could’ve wished for, he really has lived his best life with us for almost 14 years. After a hectic week or so of trading at fairs, it was a much needed tonic to ease into the season a little more gently with Jamie @seed_womens_collective as she so generously opened her home and welcomed those who’ve supported her and Seed. What a treat we were in for! The tables were dressed beautifully, the tree was up, candles were lit and we each brought a dish of nibbles to share. It really was quite special.
