In 2015 I persuaded my very tolerant husband and partner in crime that it would be a great idea to leave the rat-race behind so that I could chase my dream of starting an off-grid holiday business. Little did we know that this plan would include living in caravans for 2 years whilst we converted a barn to live in (cue screams of “where’s the wifi?” from our teenagers!) before my dream could even start to take shape. But we’ve done it! We’ve built a cabin from scratch, mainly using salvaged materials. We’ve been featured on a TV show, plus the lovely folk at Elle, Grazia, The Guardian, The Times and The Simple Things have all said wonderful things about our cabin of dreams.

Located in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders, the cabin at Albion Nights provides you with a secluded eco-retreat, set in 6 acres of wildflower meadow. The cabin is finished to a luxurious standard, with an open-plan living area fitted with a wood-burning stove and kitchenette, a separate double bedroom with a bespoke, luxury double bed plus an ensuite bathroom, all furnished with comfort and simplicity in mind. What more could you need?
You’ll just love the outdoor bath, set privately on the cabin veranda, where you can while away lazy afternoons daydreaming and late evenings stargazing.
